A public forum will be held on Thursday, Aug. 11, 7 p.m. at the Grafton High School to discuss future roadway and pedestrian improvements along Worcester Street, the Office of The Town Administrator announced. The project area stretches from Carroll Road north to Snow Road and is considered the business section of town that includes office buildings and retail such as Koopman’s Lumber and Stop & Shop. Residents who drive along the stretch know it as heavily travelled and often difficult to enter or exit the businesses. In past Board of Selectmen meetings, town officials have discussed ways to improve traffic flow, access, parking, pedestrian safety and general streetscape improvements.
The Town’s consultant, Vanasse Hangen Brustlin, Inc, the civil engineer and construction company, will be present to review work completed to date regarding their analysis. For more information contact the Grafton Planning Department at 508-839-5335, ext. 1120.
